A dish that seems as old as time itself. It has been around for generations, albeit, aspects of the recipe have been changed by the different families and their likes and dislikes.

This Old Fashioned Beef and Noodles is a simple dish to make, requiring very few ingredients and just a short amount of time.

This meal works great when you have roast beef left from another meal, and the gravy can be added to and turn into a savory sauce that coats the meat and the pasta. 

Such a simple dish that is flavorful savory and is great for those nights when you are short on time.

Why is this recipe so special?

As a filling casserole, it comes together with little effort and needing very few ingredients. It is a simple dish that tastes great and will be loved by all.

Can I eliminate the Horseradish?

I do skip adding the Horseradish once in a while. However, I must say that the Horseradish adds a layer of flavor that just increases the perfectness of this casserole.

How do I store the leftovers?

The food does need to be cooled completely and then wrapped tightly or placed into an airtight container. You can set the food in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Can I freeze this casserole?

When the food has cooled completely, it can be placed into a freezer safe container, and placed into the freezer for up to 3 months.

Ingredients:

            3 pounds Beef Stew Meat

            2 tsp Garlic, freshly minced

            1 large yellow Onion, cut into chunks

            3 tbsp Olive Oil

            1 tbsp Dijon Mustard

            2 tbsp Butter

            2 tsp Horseradish

            ⅛ cup Steak Sauce, I used A1
