Easy Sausage Breakfast Muffins
Ingredients:
1 pound breakfast sausage
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
Mix the Batter: In a large bowl, combine the Bisquick baking mix, milk, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until just combined.
Add the Sausage and Cheese: Fold in the cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Fill the Muffin Tin: Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
Bake the Muffins: Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm, and enjoy these hearty and delicious breakfast muffins!
